To mark Kibble's 150th anniversary, the 'Lasting Legacy' research project will provide a comprehensive review of the history and origins of the school and the changes through the years. This will include former pupils and staff telling their own unique stories. The project is supported by the Heritage Lottery fund and Liz Brunjes explains why they decided to get involved.

One of the most fascinating parts of the Lasting Legacy project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, is the stories of former staff and pupils. Jean Lang's father, George Gardiner, and brother, Peter Gardiner, were headmasters at Kibble and she
lived on campus for many years. She returned to Kibble for the first time recently and spoke to us about the experience.

In February 2008 Her Royal Highness Princess Anne opened Kibble's new 18-bed Safe Centre. She was greeted by a host of well-wishers of boys, staff and guests. The Robertson Trust Trades Learning Centre and Lottery supported Life Skills Centre were also officially opened. We have a look back at a proud day for everyone involved.
